florida summer

It's hot outside.
And it's only the beginning of June.
That means we have five and a half months of summer left, or about 165 days, until the humidity breaks.
The temperature reads 96 degrees, but with the humidity, who knows...
I've drunk two large glasses of ice water and I still feel as if I haven't drunk anything all day. Where does this thirst come from? The central air running all day, all night. The intense sun beating down on us as we walk the day, rush in from the car to grocery store, go to the YMCA for some kind of refreshment (we don't get out much in the summer).
My spirit is dry. I need a long, cool drink of water. So much running around in this body I call home for a time- it is tired, worn down--
He is the Source, the Living drink of water, the Eternal Spring-- fill me with your life, Lord...
